Dengan X-Men: Days of Future Past sekarang rilis di bioskop pekan ini, banyak fans sudah melihat ke depan untuk X-Men: Apocalypse, yang pertama kali diumumkan pada bulan Desember. Kita tahu bahwa Bryan Singer mengarahkan-nya kembali, dengan cerita yang berfokus pada karakter yang lebih muda dari X-Men: Days of Future Past dan X-Men: First Class. Produser Simon Kinberg terungkap dalam sebuah wawancara dengan Total Film bahwa Evan Peters akan kembali sebagai Quicksilver dalam X-Men: Apocalypse, dan bahwa kita dapat melihat adiknya Scarlet Witch juga, yang awalnya disinggung dalam X-Men: Days of Past Future.
"We talked about bringing Scarlet With into the mix for this film, and there was actually a little scene we shot that we ended up cutting from the movie that alluded to her. But it was a sort of interstitial scene that didn't push the movie forward, and so it ended up being cut, like lots of bits and pieces in a movie that's this complicated and with this many characters to follow. But he would absolutely be back for the next X-Men movie."
